FutureOn strengthens FieldTwin with new capabilities and applies AI to offshore energy's toughest data challenges
FutureOn, a global offshore energy software company, today announced a major upgrade to FieldTwin, its integrated visual workspace for subsea projects. The release features new reporting, visualization and 3D functionality, and introduces FieldTwin Intelligence - a secure AI assistant that helps engineers quickly unlock decades of project knowledge and make faster decisions.
Originally developed as a design tool, the upgrades evolve FieldTwin into the only geospatial open API digital twin platform purpose-built for subsea projects. By combining design capability, geospatial accuracy and full lifecycle execution in one workspace, FieldTwin empowers engineers to both create and operate fields in a single environment.
Beyond connecting data sources, FieldTwin facilitates two-way interaction with integrated tools, so projects can evolve as design, operations and analysis continuously feed into each other. For example, Baker Hughes' engageSubsea integration enables comprehensive asset integrity intelligence to directly inform FieldTwin's geospatial models. This collaborative environment accelerates decision making and increases transparency across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and execution to operations and decommissioning.
With FieldTwin Intelligence, customers can also tap into their own securely-stored institutional knowledge using natural language search, connecting years of engineering data, documents and training material to today's project teams.
